Wait For It
Wait for it. Knowing what season of life you are in and accepting it can really allow a nice flow through life. Is it time to raise children, time to move, rest, reset, heal an illness, climb the corporate ladder, cash in your investments and start a business? It’s hard to do them all at the same time well. The world has us believing, women especially, that we should ‘do it all,’ and look good, and make sense, and not lose it.
God’s plan has you doing His all. What a struggle this can be, a lot of my friends seems to feel they aren’t worthy, yet they are. There’s an ongoing identity crisis because the world wants us to base our worth and value on the wrong thing; who you are, what you do, what you look like, what you have. But what really matters is remembering or realizing ‘whose’ you are: the son or the daughter of the King. Is that how you think about yourself? As Royalty? Because you are.
No need to compare yourself with others or desire what another person gets to do. As a child of the King, you are well loved and cared for. All your needs are met. Believe it, friend.
Romans 8 1-2 refreshes us with this same message:
“Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death.”
No matter what you have ever done, there is no condemnation in Christ. No matter what you do for a living, whether you’re single or married, have children or not, you’re well educated, rich or poor, you are just as important to God as everyone else. We are all equally valuable to God. God really loves you. I’m praying you experience God’s love now and always.
