That line from the song Shadowfeet, pretty much sums up the last 16 months, doesn’t it?  Now that Covid is behind us, what did we learn?  I think we learned that even though we say often that life can change in an instant, we don’t really believe it will, until it does!

Things we took for granted that would always be there…weren’t.  From simple things like toilet paper to much more important things like our freedom to come and go were suddenly taken away by a tiny virus we couldn’t see.  It felt like the ground was literally ripped out from under our feet.

With all the sudden changes we experienced, the one thing that didn’t change really stood out to me:  The unwavering presence and love of Jesus Christ.  So when the world falls out from under us, how can we continue to stand?  This reminds me of some more wise lyrics:

“On Christ, the solid rock I stand
