These little shots of positivity can really pick you up! They give you that little ray of hope when things seem at their worst. When you want to give up they encourage you to keep on trying!

But even better than bumper stickers and slogans are God’s promises. That’s what we can really hold onto when life isn’t fair (it’s not) when things don’t go as planned (they won’t) and our best efforts to turn lemons into lemonade leave us with nothing but sour water and sticky hands!

Jer 29:11/ “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Rom 8:28/ “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

1 Cor 16:13/ “Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.”

These are more than feel-good slogans. These are God’s promises. He doesn’t promise easy, or problem free. But He does give guidance and assurance that He will be there with us, giving us strength and love as we move daily into His plan. And that is all the encouragement that we will ever need!
