Fish Christmas Wishes are moments where God shows up an incredible way.

After years of having the privilege of sharing this special program with Fish listeners  I have seen first hand time and time again God’s love in action. The stories are rich and plentiful and the  resourcefulness and generosity, incredible.

For this program, people find wishes to grant. Offices, small groups, individuals, the participants are lovingly varied. I’ve witnessed families who, after deciding on a wish to grant, learn that the recipient is their next door neighbor. I’ve seen teenagers hold fundraisers so they could purchase gifts for others their age. I’ve seen doctors heal patients, rents paid, laptops given to students and travel expenses covered for family members who haven’t seen each other in 20 years. The list in immeasurable in hope.

The opportunity to be a blessing is just as good if not better than those receiving the blessing. And the need is always great.
In this moment where retailers are wooing shoppers by offering free shipping, I look forward to the outreach of opportunity the Christmas season bring that offers joy to us all.
